DISTINGUISHED ALUMNI AWARDS
The Distinguished Alumni Award was established in 1987 as the UMSL Alumni Association's highest graduate honor. The award is presented annually to five university alumni who have made extraordinary career achievements, distinguished themselves through community service or gone above and beyond in their support of the University of Missouri-St. Louis.

The nomination deadline is June 1. Recipients will be recognized October 3, 2008 at the University's Founders Dinner.

OUTSTANDING YOUNG ALUMNI AWARD
The Outstanding Young Alumni Award is given annually to recent graduates of the University of Missouri-St. Louis aged 35 or younger for significant early professional achievements in their career and/or civic life which richly inspire other young alumni and bring honor to UMSL. A maximum of 3 awards are granted annually.

The deadline for nominations is April 11, 2008. The Outstanding Young Alumni awards will be presented April 28, 2008 at the Student Leadership Banquet.

SPIRIT OF UMSL AWARD
The Spirit of UMSL award honors a current member of the student body whose involvement in the past year demonstrates exemplary pride and dedication to UMSL through their personal commitment of time and energy, volunteerism, scholarship and leadership--thus reflecting positively on fellow students and the UMSL community at-large.

The deadline for nominations is May 14, 2008. The Spirit of UMSL awards will be presented on June 10, 2008 at the Annual Board meeting of the UMSL Alumni Association.


YOU MAKE A DIFFERENCE AWARD
The UMSL Alumni Association values the time and contributions of its many dedicated volunteers. The You Make a Difference award recognizes service of individual alumni chapter volunteers, faculty, staff, and Association supporters at-large.

The deadline for nominations is May 14, 2008. The You Make a Difference awards will be presented on June 10, 2008 at the Annual Board meeting of the UMSL Alumni Association.
