Sheila is a true entrepreneur. After rising to General Partner at Edward Jones, she started Spry Digital. Spry Digital brings IT to a host of non-profit organizations. Sheila’s success has made her a significant player in the IT start- up arena in St. Louis. Additionally, Sheila is the founder and president of
Tuxedo Park Leasing and Tuxedo Park Management. Sheila mentors other entrepreneurs and has done much to promote women entrepreneurs in IT.
As an alumna, Sheila continues to give back to UMSL. She serves actively on the IS Advisory Board as president, committee chair and committee member. Sheila has contributed greatly to the success of UMSL‘s summer academy, Xtreme IT and hosts students at the T-Rex building.
Sheila’s accomplishments and innovations are too numerous to include in this introduction. It’s no surprise that Sheila has been one of the St. Louis Business Journals Most Influential Business Women.
Cletus Glasener, MBA 1983

Cletus is an example of the American Dream. He began his career in 1977 as an automobile assembler, working the night shift, on the Chevrolet assembly line. He did this while working on his undergraduate degree in Finance.
After graduation, Cletus worked for McDonnell Douglas as a Contract Pricer. From McDonnell Douglas, Cletus pursued a career with Vought Aircraft, beginning as a Manager of Finance and then becoming Vice President –Corporate Controller and Treasurer.
Cletus served as Chief Financial Officer, Vice President of Finance and Corporate Secretary for Collins Industry, followed by his service as Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Finance for L-3 Communications-Vertex. Currently Cletus is the Chief Financial Officer of Elbit Systems of America.
ESA is a billion dollar plus, leading provider of high performance products and advanced system solutions focusing on defense, homeland security, commercial aviation and medical instrument markets, with over 2,000 employees, and facilities throughout the Unites States.

As president and CEO, Orv leads the United Way, helping people throughout the St. Louis region live their best possible lives. The United Way of Greater St. Louis is one of the top five United Way affiliates in the nation, annually raising $70 plus million.
Orvin started with the United Way in 2007 as vice president of major gifts, growing major gifts at a faster rate than other giving. Orv brings his passion for helping people to everything he does. Before joining the United Way, Orv worked with a number of non-profits including serving as Executive Director for Interfaith Partnership/ Faith Beyond Walls.
Jolene A. Lampton, PhD, MBA 1994
Distinguished Service to Education Award
Dr. Lampton is currently the Assistant Professor of Management & Accounting and Accounting Coordination for the Graduate Program at Park University, Austin, Texas. She has received Park University’s system wide Outstanding Faculty Award for the most Inspirational faculty member.
In 2011 Jolene was selected to participate in the Business Ethics Teaching Workshop in the Bentley Global Business Ethics Symposium in Marseille France. In 2012 Jolene presented “Techniques for Lasting Impact in the Teaching of Ethics” at the Global Business Research Conference. Her on-line course, “Ethics for Accountants “was recognized by Quality Matters.
Dr. Lampton is the consummate business educator from high school through graduate school, working with teenagers, traditional college students and adult learners. She has published and presented at the national and international level. When asked by the state of Texas Board of Public Accountancy to develop and satisfy the state-wide Ethics requirement. Jolene wrote the: CPA’s Guide to Ethical Behavior.

Sean is the Vice-President and General Manager of Charter Communications, Missouri and Illinois. He is a market business leader, responsible for the operations in Missouri and Illinois covering a network of more than 1.5 million homes and businesses. Prior to Charter, Sean was the Senior Vice President of Regional Operations at Bresnan Communications.
Sean is the chair of Partners for Progress and is on the board of the Economic Development Center for St. Charles County. Sean is also a board member of the Children’s Miracle Network of Greater St. Louis andthe Missouri Cable & Telecom Association.
