About the Chapter
The University of Missouri–St. Louis Business Alumni Chapter proudly exists to serve the needs of more than 27,000 business graduates. Each year the chapter sponsors the Salute to Business Achievement Awards, recognizing graduates of UMSL Business who have demonstrated exceptional personal and professional accomplishments to the University, their profession and or their/community. The Chapter also hosts networking events that are designed to connect fellow graduates of the college and promote the College of Business Administration.
Through the years our mission has remained unchanged:
To stimulate and maintain interest of graduates in the community in the work of the University of Missouri-St. Louis College of Business Administration.
In association with the College of Business Administration, provide a vehicle for continuing alumni education and professional development.
To provide opportunities to graduates for wider acquaintanceship and communication with fellow graduates in the university community on both a professional and social level.
To provide a medium whereby the alumni of the College of Business Administration may work together for the improvement not only of the College of Business Administration but also of the entire University of Missouri-St. Louis and the surrounding community.
To act as an informal advisory board to the Dean of the College of Business Administration

Message from Dean Charlie Hoffman
The fall semester is moving right along, as is construction of Anheuser-Busch Hall, phase one of UMSL’s first-ever dedicated business building. Located just north of Express Scripts Hall, the building has been fully funded by private and corporate donors along with a matching gift from the state of Missouri, and is set for completion in summer 2017. A-B Hall will create a significant new identity for our nationally ranked programs and will greatly aid our efforts to attract more students. Stay tuned for more information as we begin raising funds for phase two. I’m sure you’ve heard that public universities across the country are experiencing budget struggles, but UMSL Business has a lot to be proud of as we continue to pursue opportunities for growth.
