Message from the Director
Susan Lipsitz Cohen
Autumn at University of Missouri - St. Louis marks the return of students to campus, the start of classes and the opening of new learning opportunities. Having recently joined the UM-St. Louis family as Director of Alumni Relations, I feel like a new student, fresh on campus and eager to learn. In my case, however, I hope UM-St. Louis alumni will be my teachers. I look forward to meeting many of you in the coming months.
Over the past year the Alumni Association has made a difference in the lives of thousands of alumni. We want to make a difference in the lives of thousands more through volunteer opportunities, alumni services, special events, and programs. I encourage you to get involved-join the Alumni Association and take advantage of the many benefits that your membership offers, attend an event, join a chapter, come back to campus to attend a sports event, meet with students, or enjoy a performance at the Touhill Performing Arts Center.
The next time you are on campus please stop at the Alumni Association office at 101 Woods Hall so that I can meet you in person. If you have ideas or information you think will help me begin learning your interests, please call or e-mail me at cohensl@umsl.edu or call me at 516-4165. I’d love to hear from you.
