The Barnett Memorial Plaza honors the many lasting accomplishments of Dr. Barnett and reflects her belief that urban universities should connect community and campus resources in support of education.

Chancellor Marguerite Barnett's vision continues today through the thousands of diverse students whose dream of a college education has become a reality.

The plaza is located on North Campus between Express Scrips Hall, Social Sciences & Business Building/Tower (SSB) and Lucas Hall.
