ABOUT THE UMSL GERONTOLOGY ALUMNI NETWORK

The UMSL Gerontology Alumni Network is  a group of graduates who actively connect with students (past, present, and future) to foster a network of support for those working with seniors within the greater St. Louis  area   It is our hope to advance successful aging practices through education, research, and community service. This work includes providing information and guidance to our students and alumni about careers and recent advances in the field of aging.

OUR MISSION

The Gerontology Affinity Alumni Groups' purpose is to foster a continual relationship between UMSL alumni, students, and professionals who serve our aging community. The goal is to create a network of individuals and agencies who support older adults and will share pertinent information in regards to the field of gerontology as well as educational events, volunteer opportunities and job availability throughout the St. Louis community.

Primary focus areas:

1.    To strengthen alumni relationships with UMSL through educational events and service projects.
2.    To build and maintain connections with past, current and future gerontology alumni.
3.    To support the greater St. Louis community through service projects and volunteerism.
