Distinguished Alumni and Outstanding Young Alumni
Any alumni who is a recipient of an Alumni Association Distinguished Alumni Award or Outstanding Young Alumni will also receive a Golden Trident Award.

Excellence in Leadership
Any alumni who has made a significant leadership contribution to the Alumni Association, any of the Alumni Association’s Affinity Groups or the University’s Academic Units and is a recipient of awards presented by the Alumni Association Affinity groups or Academic Units of the University will also receive a Silver Trident Award.

Outstanding Volunteerism
Any alumni who has made a significant leadership contribution to the Alumni Association or to any of the Alumni Association’s Affinity Groups through outstanding volunteerism is eligible (upon nomination and Awards and Recognition Committee selection) to receive a Bronze Trident Award.

Outstanding Academic Success, Significant Extra-Curricular Involvement, Excellence in Leadership
Any student who has achieved outstanding academic success, displayed significant extra-curricular involvement, or shown excellence in leadership is eligible (upon nomination and Awards & Recognition Committee selection) to receive a Student Trident Award.
